Welcome to the Hardin Junior Championship

The STLDGA Boy's Championship was first played in 1922.  In 1977, it became known as the Hord Hardin Junior Boy's Championship.  Hord Hardin, a native St. Louisan, was president of the USGA, then Chairman of the Masters Tournament from 1980 to 1991. Champions of this event include Jay Haas and Adam Long (currently competing on the Web.com tour.)

This Championship is a two day Stroke Play event with Juniors competing in their own age division.  An exciting change to this year's event is that we have increased the maximum age to 18 from 17.  Players not reaching age 19 by June 13 are permitted to participate.  The entry fee is $60/player.  Entry fee includes Hot Dog reception following Tuesday afternoon's shotgun start.

The age divisions are:

16-18

14-15

12-13

11 & Under-This division plays 9 holes per day.

This year's tournament will be held at Whitmoor Country Club-North Course.  Players will be allowed a practice round on a space available basis.  11& Under will play the Back North each day.
